Former Wisconsin standout Chloe Miller originally was drafted by the Akron Racers in the 2017 National Professional Fastpitch draft but took a year off from the sport. She signed with the Cleveland Comets in April and has played in all 40 games so far in her rookie season. Miller, a native of Bettendorf, Iowa, played in over 200 games at Wisconsin. She recorded a career batting average of .358 with 29 home runs and 176 runs batted in. She also notched a .476 on-base percentage and a .628 slugging percentage. She started all 52 games of her senior season, primarily at catcher but she also can play third base and could fill a utility role with the Comets. As a senior, Miller led the Big Ten in batting average (.426), which also was the best single-season mark in school history, and she led the Badgers in hits (66), runs (53), home runs (11), slugging percentage (.794), on-base percentage (.545) and doubles (18).
